Gmail: Accounts and Labels

by Staff on June 15, 2011

In Gmail, Labels serve the purpose of identifying different kinds of emails — say Blogpost, Mortgage Rates, LEADS… they ALSO serve as folders — so once an email has a label, it is automatically placed in the corresponding folder… so that once you’ve dealt with it, you can file it away.

There’s so much FREE memory available with gmail, there’s rarely a need to delete. Simply Archive, that will automatically file the email away… if you haven’t assigned a label, then it will go into the “all mail” folder.
